The 25-year old man from Nevada was sentenced to 28 years in state prison on Thursday after he was convicted of killing seven dogs. 
Jason Brown, of Reno was known to commit heinous acts of crime against dogs. It is reported that he torture, dismember, and behead dogs and record it for his pleasure. "The cruelty, and sadism is simply shocking", Washoe District Judge Elliott Settler said as he watches the video. "The part the frightened me most about the videos is that you produced them in the first place. That tells me you wanted to go back and watch them again - a trophy if you will, of your behavior. ..." he added.
Brown said in one of the recordings that he found dogs through Craigslist and looked for "pets free" on the ads. People responded to Brown and testified that he seemed like a normal guy.
According to Brown, he couldn't remember committing the acts because he was injecting heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine that he usually do for a month.
Brown was arrested in 2014 after police discovered four beheaded dog heads in the mini fridge of the motel room he was staying.
