Do you believe that dogs can detect our ailments like cancer, heart diseases or an epilepsy? This lifesaving dog proved just how sensitive they are not just on the environment around the, but also on the tiniest of changes like for instance an epileptic seizure.
Before this video was taken, Poppy, a 2 year old labrador retriever alerted Shannon Locke of an upcoming epilepsy. Poppy can detect a seizure before it even happens, so Shannon Locke was able to setup a camera to record the dog's life-saving antics.
Poppy is able to detect an upcoming seizure minutes before it even happens. When there's an upcoming seizure, Poppy will start to bark, pawn at her and nuzzle her with his snout. This is very useful for Shannon as she is able to find a safe place, lie down, and take appropriate measures.
