Penny waited for months to give birth to her cute puppies only to find out that her little babies were stillborn. It broke her heart and Penny cried all night. "You can see the tears.. literally she had tears on her eyes", Penny's owner said.
Looking for ways to alleviate the pain, the next morning Penny's parent and his friends look for a new baby for penny to take care for. Cat's cradle in Harrisburg said they have 5 kittens in need of a mother. When these litter of kittens were brought home, it was an instant match!
Up to this day, Penny happily cared for the litter as if it were her own babies. This goes to show that dogs are compassionate too.
